About me

Raised in Wallace and committed to my community

I have always been grateful and happy to live in Wallace.  Our town has great potential and its people are the true value of our town.

My family came to Wallace almost 30 years ago in search of opportunity and a new life. Ever since my family settled in Wallace, I have made great friendships in my town. In fact, it was in Wallace where I met my wonderful wife Brenda with whom I've been married with for several years.

My educational background consists of attending public schools in Duplin County (once a Bulldog, always Bulldog!), going to college and obtaining my associate's degree from James Sprunt Community College, and later attending the University of Mount Olive where I obtained my undergraduate  and graduate degrees. In addition, my career at the local and state level has all been in Duplin County. I can say, without a doubt, that I am a product of Duplin County!

I have always believed in the importance of giving back to my community. As a result, I have dedicated much of my time by volunteering at local events, disaster recovery efforts, providing pro bono services, and participating at several non-profit boards.

In 2019 the people of Wallace placed their trust in me and I was elected to the town board where I have committed himself to serving the people without ever missing a meeting.  In 2023, the town council placed their trust once again in me and I was appointed Mayor Pro-Team to the town of Wallace.

I am excited to see the amazing growth that Wallace has experienced in the past four years and I am ready to continue that work by running for re-election!
